About the Role
TotalEnergies is looking for a Fuel Card Executive – Graduate Trainee to join our team in Tanzania. This role offers young graduates an exciting opportunity to grow their careers in the energy sector while supporting the expansion and management of TotalEnergies’ innovative Fuel Card system — the first in Tanzania to use an automatic polling system.
You will work closely with clients, dealers, and internal teams to manage customer portfolios, drive sales growth, and ensure excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Uphold all HSSE Golden Rules and TotalEnergies’ safety standards.
- Manage a portfolio of prepaid and postpaid customers.
- Achieve sales targets by prospecting, developing leads, and opening new accounts.
- Support collections to meet monthly DSO targets.
- Maintain SALSA KPIs for customer visits, opportunities, and action plans.
- Present and transition customers to service package offers using BOOSTER tools.
- Work with CRM systems, including TOMCARD, SAP, and TEMC+.
- Train territory and station managers on the use of EPT machines.
- Conduct quarterly account balance confirmations with postpaid clients.
- Reconcile fuel card accounts and prepare for monthly credit control meetings.
- Submit tenders, RFPs, and RFQs as required.
- Manage contracts with existing clients, ensuring timely renewals and customer retention.
- Provide Extranet training to new clients and report technical issues to the support team.
Candidate Profile
- University degree in Business, Marketing, or Administration.
- Strong integrity and professionalism.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
