Site Launch Coordinator in Dar es Salaam.

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania – September 23, 2025. CVPeople Tanzania has opened applications for an exciting short-term role: Site Launch Coordinator. This is a 6-month consultancy opportunity designed for detail-oriented professionals who can turn plans into reality and ensure seamless site launches.

The role is at the core of expansion operations, making sure that every new service station is ready on time, up to standard, and properly handed over for operations. For someone who thrives in coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement, this is a chance to play a visible role in one of Tanzania’s growing sectors.

What the Role Involves

The Site Launch Coordinator is the bridge between planning and operations. In this position, you will:

  • Coordinate and execute new service station launches according to set timelines and standards.
  • Check that equipment, documents, and permits are ready before launch.
  • Work closely with internal teams—Tech, Operations, Hypercare, and Development—to ensure smooth execution.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including landlords, community leaders, and service providers.
  • Monitor launch quality, keep rework rates at a minimum, and present updates during team meetings.

This is not just administration—it’s about making sure sites open on time, at quality, and with strong local partnerships in place.

What You Need to Succeed

CVPeople Tanzania is looking for candidates who bring both knowledge and adaptability. The basics include:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or a related field.
  • Experience or basic knowledge in project coordination or administration.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including to remote locations.
  • The ability to stay organised and deliver under tight timelines.

Success in this role will be measured by key performance indicators such as the number of stations launched against targets, operational readiness upon handover (≥90%), and keeping rework rates below 5%.

Why This Role Matters

Every service station launched is a milestone not just for CVPeople Tanzania, but for the communities that benefit from new access points and services. As a Site Launch Coordinator, your work ensures expansion projects don’t just look good on paper—they go live, on time, and ready to serve.
