About the Role
CVPeople Tanzania is looking for two motivated Junior Accountants to join our finance team. You will play a key role in managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting the preparation of financial reports. Key Responsibilities

Handle daily financial transactions and maintain precise financial records.

Process invoices, receipts, payroll, and statutory deductions (PAYE, SDL, NSSF, WCF, City Service Levy).

Enter and reconcile data in Tally, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Support audits by preparing documentation and ensuring adherence to internal controls.

Manage banking activities, including account setup, monitoring, and reconciliation.

Ensure timely submission of statutory returns to relevant authorities.

Recommend improvements to financial processes and internal controls.
What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Up to 2 years of experience in accounting or finance (internship or entry-level experience is welcome).

Proficient in Tally and MS Office, especially Excel.

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and statutory requirements.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
