Now, we’re investing in young people by offering structured training that combines classroom learning with real workplace experience — and leads to a recognised artisan qualification.
What’s on Offer?
We’re offering MQA-registered learnerships in these fields:
- Instrumentation Mechanician
- Fitter
- Diesel Mechanic
- Boilermaker
- Electrician
By joining, you’ll be part of the Unemployed (18.2) Learnership Programme — a direct path to a formal artisan qualification.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a learner, you will:
- Work hands-on in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
- Be ready to work shifts when needed.
- Stick to strict health and safety standards (including medical fitness checks).
- Commit fully to your learnership journey.
Who Can Apply?
To qualify, you’ll need:
- Matric (Grade 12) with Maths and Physical Science (or Technical Maths and Technical Science).
- N2 certificates in subjects related to your chosen trade.
- To be currently unemployed.
- South African citizenship (preference will go to applicants from Danielskuil).
- To pass a medical fitness test and submit the certificate.
