Soft Tech Consultants is seeking an experienced ERP Functional Consultant to support the implementation of IFMIS projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for requirements gathering, system configuration, user training, documentation, and providing both pre- and post–go-live support to ensure a smooth deployment and high client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the Revenue Payment Gateway module and other IFMIS-related solutions.

• Validate that all system modules align with client needs and business requirements.

• Gather and document requirements, define project scope, and design functional solutions that support organizational goals.

• Collaborate with internal teams and client departments to achieve successful project outcomes.

• Deliver end-user and core team training for ERP systems to both local and international clients.

• Conduct remote and in-person training, including web-based and classroom sessions at overseas client sites.

• Configure systems and support clients during User Acceptance Testing based on functional and process needs.

• Prepare detailed project documentation, including client specifications and implementation records.

• Develop and maintain operational manuals, training materials, and configuration documents.

• Provide pre- and post–go-live support to ensure stable system performance and strong user adoption.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• An Advanced Diploma in Accounting or Finance may be considered with relevant experience.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in finance, accounting, IT systems, or similar fields.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and industry best practices.

• CPA certification is an added advantage.

• Willingness to travel for on-site implementations within and outside Tanzania.

• Ability to learn new ERP products and obtain relevant certifications for improved project delivery.

Salary Range

TZS 1.5M – 2M net per month, with additional compensation depending on qualifications, skills, and experience.
