Position: Executive Chef

Barra Beach is on the lookout for a talented Executive Chef to take charge of our kitchen operations. This is more than just a cooking role — we need someone who can set the tone, bring fresh ideas to the menu, and guide a team that’s passionate about food and hospitality. What You’ll Be Doing

• Create and update menus that highlight local ingredients while keeping an international flair.
• Lead and mentor the kitchen staff so that every service runs smoothly.
• Make sure every plate leaving the kitchen looks and tastes its best.
• Keep an eye on food costs, portion sizes, and stock to avoid waste and stay on budget.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.
• Work with management on special functions, themed nights, and private events.
• Oversee scheduling and support the professional growth of your team.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as an Executive Chef in a busy resort, hotel, or similar setting.
• Strong leadership skills — able to motivate and support a diverse team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Solid understanding of kitchen budgets, ordering systems, and stock management.
• Calm and focused under pressure, even during peak times.
• Great communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
