About the Role

The company is seeking three Geologists (Geologist 2 – Underground Mine Geology) to strengthen its underground operations. These roles go beyond routine tasks; they are central to ensuring that ore bodies are well understood, properly mapped, and efficiently extracted while maintaining safety and environmental standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Geologist 2 in underground mine geology, you will:

  • Map underground faces and log drill cores with precision.
  • Monitor ore body geometry to support daily and long-term production.
  • Uphold QAQC protocols to guarantee reliable data.
  • Provide geological insights to guide mine planning and production teams.
  • Keep detailed and accurate records to support decision-making.
  • Promote safety and environmental compliance in every aspect of underground exploration.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking geologists who combine strong technical expertise with a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Education:

  • B.Sc. in Geology or higher, or an equivalent qualification in Geoscience.

Experience:

  • At least five years in mining geology within medium- to large-scale operations.
  • Minimum of three years working directly in underground mine environments.
  • Familiarity with geological software such as Datamine, Leapfrog, or GIS systems.
  • Hands-on skills in geological mapping, sampling, and structural interpretation.
