This programme is designed to equip unemployed youth with the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to build sustainable careers in the financial sector — all while earning a National Certificate in Wealth Management (NQF Level 5). The Discovery Wealth Management Learnership aims to:

Entry Requirements

To be considered for the learnership, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12 with:

  • Mathematics (Level 4 / 50% minimum) or

  • Mathematical Literacy (Level 5 / 60% minimum)

  • English (Level 4 / 50% minimum)

  • A second language (Level 4 / 50% minimum)

• An incomplete tertiary qualification in finance will be an added advantage.

Additional criteria:

• South African citizen by birth.

• Aged between 18 and 30 years.

• Currently unemployed and not enrolled in any other post-Matric studies.

• No previous participation in a learnership programme.

• Basic computer literacy (MS Excel and MS Outlook).
