Civil Aviation and Immigration Security System (CAISS) Trainer at CVPeople Tanzania

When you think of aviation and immigration security, the first things that often come to mind are strict checks, long queues, and lots of paperwork. But behind the scenes, there’s a growing movement to make these processes more efficient, secure, and user-friendly through technology. At the heart of this transformation is the Civil Aviation and Immigration Security System (CAISS) — and the trainers who help people use it with confidence.
At CVPeople Tanzania, we’re proud to be part of this journey. Right now, we’re looking for someone passionate about both technology and people: a CAISS Trainer who can bridge the gap between complex systems and the everyday users who rely on them.
What This Role Is Really About
Being a CAISS Trainer isn’t just about teaching people how to click the right buttons. It’s about building confidence, making systems less intimidating, and ensuring that immigration officers, administrators, and technical staff feel supported as they embrace new tools.
You’ll be leading hands-on, scenario-based training sessions that bring real-life challenges into the classroom. Whether it’s guiding a border control officer through biometric enrollment or helping an admin team understand visa-processing workflows, your job is to make learning practical, approachable, and impactful.
The Human Side of Training
Every learner is different — some are tech-savvy, others might be using a digital system for the first time. That’s where empathy comes in. As a CAISS Trainer, you’ll:
- Adapt your training style to fit different learning needs (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic).
- Simplify complex ideas so that even non-technical learners feel at ease.
- Create a supportive space where questions are encouraged, and mistakes become stepping stones to mastery.
It’s not just about what you teach, but how you make people feel about learning.
Why It Matters
Border control and immigration systems are not just technical platforms — they’re part of the national security backbone and a critical piece of how countries manage movement in and out of their borders. By helping people master CAISS, you’re not only making their daily work smoother; you’re also contributing to safer, more efficient travel for everyone.
Who We’re Looking For
This isn’t a role for someone who wants to stay in the background. It’s for someone who loves being in front of a group, thrives on seeing those “lightbulb moments,” and enjoys problem-solving on the spot.
- You have a background in IT, education, or training.
- You’ve got at least 3 years’ experience teaching adults (bonus if it’s in immigration or public service).
- You can switch between English and Swahili with ease.
- You’re comfortable customising materials, using digital training tools, and keeping up with system updates.
- And most importantly, you believe in making technology accessible to everyone.
Why You’ll Love It
This role is about more than just training — it’s about impact. You’ll see the difference you make in real time, as learners go from hesitant to confident. You’ll also be part of a team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
If you’re ready to combine your love of teaching with the world of technology and national security, this could be the next big step in your career.
