The Opportunity
We are re-advertising for a Marketing Officer to join our team in Arusha.
This position suits someone with a strong interest in community engagement, events, and creative communication. You’ll be part of a small, motivated marketing team that works to increase awareness of the school’s mission and impact.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver local marketing campaigns and community events that strengthen the school’s profile.
- Support the Assistant Team Lead – Marketing in finding new ways to share St Jude’s story with local audiences.
- Work closely with the Social Media Content Producer and Graphic Designers to create clear, engaging bilingual material.
- Help the Art, Sports, and Visitor teams plan and promote their events.
- Contribute to newsletters and other communications for parents and supporters.
- Keep records, budgets, and schedules organised so activities run smoothly and on time.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, PR, Business, or Commerce.
- At least three years’ experience in marketing or sales and a desire to build a long-term career in the field.
- Solid understanding of how to apply marketing principles to practical campaigns.
- Reliable, organised, and detail-oriented, with a calm approach when deadlines get tight.
- Willingness to work some weekends and longer hours during key events.
- A genuine interest in community development and teamwork.
