About the Role
Barra Beach is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our resort operations. This role is ideal for a visionary leader who thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversee all resort operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and service departments.
- Develop and execute strategies to maximize guest satisfaction, efficiency, and profitability.
- Lead, mentor, and support department heads to ensure seamless coordination and top-level performance.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions for cost control, operational improvements, and service excellence.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and events teams to boost occupancy rates and promote resort offerings.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and hospitality standards.
- Handle guest concerns and complaints with professionalism, ensuring positive outcomes.
- Monitor financial performance, budgets, and resource allocation to achieve revenue goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven track record as a General Manager or in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry (minimum 5–7 years).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to outstanding guest service.
- Proficiency with hospitality management systems and operational tools.
- Ability to inspire and manage diverse teams across multiple departments.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
