Position Objective
The Senior Manager – Trade Finance will drive the development of trade finance solutions for clients, including government institutions, corporate organizations, and other business segments. The role focuses on creating structured trade finance solutions that enhance business volumes, revenues, and overall client satisfaction.
What you will do

Promote and grow Trade Finance business within assigned portfolios.

Achieve targeted goals for trade finance, including funded and non-funded products.

Maximise client utilization against approved limits.

Work closely with Relationship Managers and business lines to generate new trade finance business.

Use trade finance products and structured solutions to improve yields from client relationships.

Conduct regular client engagements to enhance awareness and experience of trade finance offerings.

Arrange joint client calls with Relationship Managers to identify new revenue opportunities.

Gather market feedback on products, services, and competitors.

Organize Trade Finance seminars and training sessions for clients.

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth trade finance operations and timely transaction processing.

Introduce new trade finance products and solutions to clients.

Cross-sell other banking products and refer potential business opportunities.

Provide management with insights to improve Trade Finance services and product offerings.

Manage relationships with financial institutions that support trade transactions.
What we are looking for

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics, Entrepreneurship, or related field from a recognized institution.

At least sixteen (16) years of experience in banking or financial institutions, with solid knowledge of trade finance operations and government liaison.

High level of integrity and professionalism.

Strong communication and report-writing skills.

Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

Personable and able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
