As part of its ongoing expansion, Goodwill Ceramics is seeking a Showroom Quality Controller—a detail-oriented professional who will ensure brand consistency and excellence across all client showrooms.
The Role
The Showroom Quality Controller will be responsible for inspecting, evaluating, and maintaining the presentation standards of client showrooms. This role requires someone who can balance an eye for design with strong organisational and communication skills. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between the company and its partners, ensuring that every showroom reflects the Goodwill Ceramics brand at its best.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of client showrooms following company schedules and standards.
- Evaluate the condition of displays, product samples, and branding materials, ensuring they are correctly placed and up to date.
- Score showrooms based on inspection findings, prepare detailed reports, and submit them to headquarters.
- Advise clients on corrective measures, set deadlines for improvements, and monitor progress.
- Train and guide showroom staff on display standards, product updates, and overall maintenance.
- Oversee the introduction and proper display of new products and promotional materials.
- Keep organised records of inspections, photos, ratings, and corrective action reports.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly performance summaries, highlighting key observations and recommendations.
- Communicate regularly with showroom managers to understand operational challenges and provide solutions.
- Support the rollout of marketing campaigns and promotions in client showrooms.
- Liaise with Marketing, Sales, and Design departments to share feedback and suggest improvements.
- Recommend enhancements for the showroom image, layout, and standardisation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Brand Management, Chain Operations, Architectural Decoration, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in brand supervision, retail or showroom management, or the building materials industry.
- Strong understanding of visual merchandising, brand image maintenance, and showroom operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with preparing inspection reports and photo documentation.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and customer service skills.
- A proactive, detail-oriented professional who takes initiative and delivers on commitments.
- Willingness to travel for showroom visits and on-site inspections.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
