    Minimum Requirements

    Education:

    • Academic record confirming completion of theoretical studies and the requirement for in-service training (where applicable).

    For Firefighter Internships:

    • Grade 12 Certificate

    • Firefighter I and II Courses

    • Hazmat Awareness & Operations Certificate

    • First Aid Level 3

    General:

    • Must be an unemployed South African citizen.

    • Willingness to work in municipal offices and participate in community-based services.
