Minimum Requirements

Education:

- Academic record confirming completion of theoretical studies and the requirement for in-service training (where applicable).
For Firefighter Internships:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Firefighter I and II Courses
- Hazmat Awareness & Operations Certificate
- First Aid Level 3
General:
- Must be an unemployed South African citizen.
- Willingness to work in municipal offices and participate in community-based services.
Placement Structure

Interns will be placed across different municipal offices and units to ensure wide service coverage:

- Community and Safety Services – Fire & Safety posts
- Planning and Economic Development – 5 posts
- Technical Services – 10 posts
