About the Internship
The Chemical Industries Education and Training Authority (CHIETA) is calling on unemployed graduates to apply for the Administration Internship Programme 2025–2027.
This internship offers young graduates the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience while supporting the ETQA Business Unit and other divisions within CHIETA. It is a structured programme designed to build workplace skills, grow professional confidence, and prepare candidates for future careers in administration and business management.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A completed Diploma (NQF 6 equivalent) in Business Administration or a related field with a minimum aggregate of 65%
- No prior work experience (graduates only)
- Reside in Gauteng Province
- Valid driver’s licence (advantageous, but not compulsory)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal abilities and report-writing skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within teams and across units
- Strong computer literacy and innovative mindset
Key Responsibilities
As an Administration Intern, you will be required to:
- Capture SDP/AC and ARPL data accurately
- Manage document control, filing, and record-keeping
- Provide general administrative support across CHIETA business units
- Assist specialists and practitioners with administrative tasks
- Support accreditation and RPL monitoring processes, including reporting
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with skills development activities within assigned organisations
- Provide additional support to the Accreditation Sub-Unit as needed
