As a Project Manager at Aga Khan University, you will play a central role in leading impactful projects that shape the future of education, healthcare, and research. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field (a Master’s will be an added advantage).
- Professional certification in project management (such as PMP or PRINCE2) will be a strong asset.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability, with the confidence to make decisions and keep projects on track.
Experience
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- At least 5 years of proven experience in managing complex projects, preferably within the education, healthcare, or development sectors.
- A track record of successfully leading diverse teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Practical experience in budget management, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with modern project management tools and methodologies.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Plan, oversee, and execute projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
- Monitor budgets, timelines, and resources, making adjustments where necessary.
- Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure objectives are achieved.
- Provide regular progress reports and ensure accountability at all stages.
- Inspire collaboration and maintain a solutions-oriented approach throughout the project cycle.
