HR Officer, Sales & Operations Support

Hakadosh Limited is seeking a dynamic HR Officer – Sales & Operations Support to join our expanding team. About the Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this position goes beyond traditional HR functions. You will be at the intersection of human resources and commercial operations, combining:
- Talent acquisition and recruitment strategy
- Performance management and training
- Sales enablement and client support
- HR strategy and compliance
Your efforts will directly contribute to the success of our sales and operations teams, ensuring the right people are in the right roles and equipped to perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job design, advertising, shortlisting, structured interviews, assessments, and background checks.
- Develop and execute proactive recruitment strategies for sales, warehouse, clearing, and operations staff.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for critical roles.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new hires, minimising vacancy gaps.
- Support sales enablement activities, including client pitches, proposals, and onboarding logistics.
Outsourcing & Contractor Management
- Oversee outsourced staff to ensure compliance with Hakadosh standards.
- Manage contracts, timesheets, and performance expectations.
Employee Relations & Attendance
- Maintain up-to-date employee records and contracts.
- Monitor attendance, leave requests, and timesheets.
- Support workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and employee engagement.
Performance Management & Training
- Coordinate probation reviews and appraisals.
- Deliver induction and role-specific training (sales techniques, Odoo use, product knowledge, and operations procedures).
- Implement and track performance management frameworks (KPIs, scorecards, targets).
Compensation & Compliance
- Ensure accurate payroll inputs, salary administration, and statutory contributions (NSSF, PAYE).
- Maintain compliance with HR policies and labour laws.
- Advise management on incentives, commission structures, and contractual matters to ensure optimal performance.
Skills & Competencies
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience in HR metrics and reporting.
- Proficiency in HRIS/ERP systems (Odoo is a plus) and MS Office.
- Intense coaching, facilitation, and training delivery skills.
- High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Time-to-fill for critical sales & operations roles (< 30 days).
- New hire productivity within 90 days of onboarding.
- Improved sales team retention and reduced turnover.
- On-time completion of performance reviews and development plans.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field (Master’s is an advantage).
- 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years supporting sales or operations teams in logistics, manufacturing, or trading.
- Strong track record in recruitment, performance management, training, and employee relations.
- Experience in sales enablement or business development support is highly preferred.
