The Role: Senior HR Officer
As a Senior HR Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, driving HR strategies and ensuring smooth day-to-day management of people processes. You’ll work closely with school leadership, provide guidance on HR policies, and support initiatives that keep our staff motivated, compliant, and engaged.
This role requires someone who is not only technically skilled but also approachable, empathetic, and able to balance professionalism with people-first leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
- Provide expert advice on labour laws, HR policies, and compliance.
- Foster positive employee relations by addressing staff concerns and building trust.
- Maintain accurate HR records, systems, and reports.
- Support training and development initiatives to strengthen staff skills and growth.
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of proven HR experience, ideally in education or service-driven sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labour laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office tools.
