Position Objective
The role provides independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of the Bank’s internal controls and risk management processes. The auditor also supports management in identifying risks and strengthening risk-management practices across the institution.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct assurance and advisory assignments related to the Bank’s ICT infrastructure and services.

Provide assurance on data governance to management and the Board of Directors.

Support and maintain the Audit Directorate’s IT infrastructure.

Offer technical guidance to audit team members to ensure audit objectives are achieved.

Carry out thorough planning and risk assessments for ICT-related engagements to identify areas of potential risk.

Focus audit work on high-risk areas to ensure effective use of time and resources.

Present audit findings and recommendations clearly, secure management agreement, and prepare timely audit reports.

Follow up to ensure recommended actions are implemented.

Undertake any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Advocate for customer needs across the Bank while balancing service demands with business priorities.

Conduct customer research and analyse feedback to support service and process improvements.

Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements related to service delivery.
What we are looking for
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Informatics, Telecommunications, Artificial Intelligence, Actuarial Science, or another related field from a recognised institution.

Experience: At least thirteen (13) years of experience in a related area.
