    The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), through its National Skills Fund (NSF), is inviting unemployed graduates to apply for the Graduate Internship Programme 2025–2027. This initiative is part of South Africa’s drive to tackle youth unemployment by giving graduates real workplace exposure, professional skills, and networks that will improve their employability while helping to grow the country’s economy.

    About the National Skills Fund

    The NSF, managed under DHET, funds projects that build the skills South Africa needs most. Its work includes bursaries, training, learnerships, and internships all aimed at supporting transformation and driving economic development.

    The Graduate Internship Programme is one of NSF’s flagship projects, designed to give young people the chance to step into meaningful roles and gain the kind of experience that builds confidence and careers.

    • Supply Chain Management – Ref: NSF03/08/2025 | Diploma/Degree in SCM/Logistics

    • Secretariat – Ref: NSF04/08/2025 | Diploma/Degree in Public Management/Administration

    • Legal – Ref: NSF06/08/2025 | Bachelor of Law (LLB)

    • ICT – Ref: NSF09/08/2025 | Diploma/Degree in ICT

    • Internal Audit – Ref: NSF10/08/2025 | Diploma/Degree in Internal Audit

    • Public Relations & Communications – Ref: NSF13/08/2025 | Diploma/Degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, Marketing, or Media Studies

    • Programme Monitoring – Ref: NSF22/08/2025 | Diploma/Degree in Public Management, Administration, Project or Financial Management

    Note: Opportunities are also open for graduates with N6 Certificates in fields such as Public Management, Human Resources, Financial Management, or Office Administration.

    2. Complete the New Z83 Form (electronic signature accepted).

    3. Upload the following supporting documents:

      • Comprehensive CV

      • Certified copies of qualifications

      • Certified copy of your South African ID

    Only fully completed and signed Z83 applications will be accepted.
