We are now looking for a dedicated Car Driver to join our company and contribute to the efficiency of our daily operations.
About the Role
As a driver at Goodwill Ceramics, you will play an important role in keeping our operations running smoothly. You will be responsible for transporting staff, materials, and visitors safely and on schedule. We are looking for someone who is reliable, courteous, and takes pride in maintaining both their vehicle and a professional attitude at all times.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly, following all traffic rules and company procedures.
- Ensure that the vehicle is always clean, well-maintained, and serviced regularly.
- Transport staff, clients, and goods between company sites or to designated destinations.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance schedules.
- Report any mechanical or safety issues promptly.
- Assist with loading or unloading items when needed.
- Respond calmly and professionally to unexpected situations or emergencies.
- Represent Goodwill Ceramics with respect and professionalism at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Tanzanian driving license with a clean record.
- Minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a company or personal driver will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations.
- Familiarity with GPS and navigation tools.
- Physically fit and able to handle light lifting when required.
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to work flexible hours, including weekends when needed.
- Basic communication skills in English are preferred.
