About the Role
Bravo Group Limited is looking for a proactive and dedicated Safety Officer to join our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) team. This role is central to ensuring a safe and compliant working environment across our Ubungo Terminal, covering warehousing, workshops, container handling, and office operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enforce HSE policies in line with national and international regulations
- Monitor daily safety across terminal operations — including container handling, forklifts, cranes, and workshops
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Deliver staff and contractor training (inductions, toolbox talks, refresher sessions)
- Lead investigations of accidents and near misses, and recommend corrective measures
- Maintain emergency response plans (fire safety, spill response, first aid, evacuation)
- Promote and drive a safety-first culture across all levels of the organisation
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- Professional certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) is essential
- 3–5 years’ experience in logistics, port operations, warehousing, or industrial safety
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian safety laws and international standards (ISO 45001, ILO)
- Proven skills in risk assessment, incident investigation, and compliance enforcement
- Excellent communication, training, and reporting skills
