About the Role
TotalEnergies is seeking a Fuel Card Assistant – Back Office to join our team in Tanzania. This role focuses on managing fuel card operations, supporting clients and dealers, and ensuring smooth back-office processes. The position requires a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional who can maintain operational efficiency while upholding the company’s high standards for safety and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to HSSE Golden Rules and TotalEnergies’ safety standards.
- Create and manage dealer and station accounts, assigning commissions and discounts.
- Customise fuel cards for new and existing clients, including creation and monitoring of dealer station cards.
- Amend client and staff cards (e.g., refresh ceilings, unlock cards, reverse reload errors).
- Ensure proper filing of records, attaching receipts or account statements to prepaid orders.
- Allocate package charges to customer accounts and validate extranet requests.
- Reconcile client and dealer accounts.
- Manage back-office stock, including fuel cards, EPT machines, ribbons, rollers, and card accessories.
- Maintain EPT machines and train pump attendants on their usage.
- Perform priority control checks: PC1 (daily polling) and PC2 (weekly trial balances).
- Report and request procurement needs (fuel cards, EPTs, accessories) promptly.
Candidate Profile
- Education: University degree in Business, Marketing, or Administration.
- Strong integrity and professionalism.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
