NMB Bank is looking for a dedicated Insurance Claims Specialist to oversee and manage the full claims process for both life and general insurance products. This is a customer-facing, impact-driven role where you’ll ensure timely, fair, and transparent settlements that protect both the bank and its clients.

As an Insurance Specialist (Claims), you’ll take ownership of the claims journey for both life and general insurance products, ensuring transparency, fairness, and speed.
Key Responsibilities

Manage life and general insurance claims, ensuring timely processing and settlement.

Track, review, and reconcile claims against policies and SLAs.

Strengthen collaboration with insurers, branches, and stakeholders.

Identify risks, resolve disputes, and develop quicker, safer settlement processes.

Prepare monthly claims performance reports for each insurer.

Guide and support customers throughout the claims process, ensuring clear communication and fairness.

Ensure compliance with bancassurance regulations and uphold customer protection standards.
Knowledge & Skills Needed

Strong foundation in insurance principles, policies, and regulations.

Deep understanding of bancassurance products and banking operations.

Analytical mindset to assess claims and detect risks.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Precision in reviewing documents and claims documentation.

Ability to balance multiple claims efficiently while meeting strict deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Insurance Business or Risk Management.

Certification or training in risk management/insurance is an added advantage.

Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in insurance (claims, underwriting, or sales).

Hands-on knowledge of insurance products and claims management.
